Weight Watchers Point List Alcohol
International Weight Watchers has been around for many years and has proved to be a hugely successful diet program which centers on balancing exercise, low fat nutrition and guidance.
Items of food are allotted a points score and Weight Watchers members use a points calculator and hundreds of great recipes that are provided by the program. Members also attend counseling sessions locally to get both ideas and advice and to help with the changes in lifestyle which go along with any diet plan. Members also have access to online support and online calculators and menus.
To further help participants, Weight Watchers produce their own range of meals that can be purchased at many of the larger grocery chains.
A points score is assigned to various foods according to the portion size, the calories that portion contains, the quantity of fiber and the amount of fat contained in every serving. As a rule, foods which are high in fat will have a high points score and foods which are high in fiber will have a low points score. A dieter's daily allowance then depends upon things like body weight and the desired weight loss.
The formula used to calculate a points score is as follows:

Where: p = Points | c = Calories | f = Fat Grams | r = Dietary fiber Grams
(Please note: when considering the term (min{r, 4}) a maximum of 4 grams of fiber are used in the calculation. For instance, if the actual figure is under 4 this figure is used, however, if the figure is greater than 4 then 4 is used.
Here you will find some examples of the points values assigned to particular foods:
| Food | Calories | Fat (g) | Carbohydrates | Fiber | Points |
Quarter Pounder with cheese | 430 | 30 | 38 | 2 | 13 |
| Big Mac | 590 | 34 | 47 | 3 | 14 |
